Airway Phantom

The airway phantom offers a highly realistic training environment for airway procedures.

The modular design features a surgical field with a lifelike epidermis and a membrane accurately positioned above the larynx, providing anatomical fidelity. A flexible trachea enhances the realism by delivering authentic haptic feedback during manipulation. The phantom may be positioned in a fixed manner on the table or configured to be flexible.

Additionally, the materials used in the model exhibit realistic cutting and suturing characteristics, closely replicating the tactile experience of working with human tissue.

Attachable airway phantom

For an even more realistic training, an airway phantom for strapping on was developed. It features a modular trachea covered with a skin phantom.

Thanks to the extended skin, which can be pulled through the holder, the phantom is designed to allow multiple procedures to be practiced in a short amount of time without needing to rebuild the setup.

The Phantom is padded with felt for a comfortable fit.
